Idyllic hideaway nestled in its private 5 acre mature south facing garden with streams and woodlands. The Water Hole lies just over a mile south of Zennor, an ideal location to enjoy West Cornwall's rugged coastline, with easy access to Penzance, St Ives and the Gurnard's Head award winning pub.
The Space
The Water Hole has just undergone complete renovation and refurbishment.
The barn is spacious and sleeps up to 6 plus babies/toddler in a travel cot.
3 double bedrooms: one king size bed and 2 doubles all with award-winning Emma mattresses, large windows and blackout blinds. 100% cotton linen and towels provided. Storage and hanging space for clothes, full length mirror and hair dryer in each bedroom. Bedroom 2 also has a small desk.
There is parking for up to 4 cars.
Superfast broadband wifi in all rooms in the house and studio (please note: no mobile reception so you will need to switch on wifi calling on your phone).
Open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area with woodburner, large sofa and chairs to seat 6 and TV.
Separate snug with loveseat, chair, poufs, woodburner, board games and books.
Fully equipped kitchen includes oven, Samsung electric hobs, oil-fired Aga, large Haier fridge/freezer, Bosh dishwasher, large traditional farmhouse dining table and Ercol chairs, nespresso machine, Bosh kettle, teapot, 6 slice Dualit toaster and Samsung microwave in addition to pots, pans, cooking utensils, tableware, glassware, mugs and cutlery.
Child-friendly: stair gates, highchair, children's tableware and cutlery, child-safe window fasteners and locks on all upstairs windows, baby/toddler bath, travel cot with mattress and sheet (available on request - advance notice please).
Upstairs bathroom is fitted with traditional roll top bath, large basin and toilet. Downstairs there is a shower room and separate WC.
Utility/bootroom with washer/dryer, shoe rack and coat hooks. House entrance leads into the utility which is connected to the kitchen/lounge.
Outside
5 acres of beautiful garden and woodland (planted by the Woodland Trust), wood-fired hot tub, gym and games room. The garden is absolutely stunning and a haven for wildlife. It has paths to walk around and a stream running through it. Explore and enjoy the garden but please make sure young children/toddlers are accompanied at all times due to the stream (which is generally fairly shallow).
Patio door in lounge/kitchen area leads out onto garden with large patio with wood-fired hot tub, BBQ, and table and chairs to seat 6 with parasol.
Separate spacious studio in garden with gym (squat rack, pull up bar, bench, adjustable dumbbells, kettlebells and rowing machine), yoga mats, Cornilleau ping pong table and Bonzini foostable/football table.
Please note that the wood-fired hot tub needs to be filled, lit and emptied by guests after each use. We provide 2 bags of logs with kindling and firelighters to get you started with the hot tub and/or wood burners. If you need more logs, you can bring your own or purchase some at B&M which is only 10 minutes drive from the property. We give full instructions for use and you can always call us if you have any questions.You can use wood or charcoal (not provided) for the BBQ.

- bed sheets, bath towels only, soap and loo rolls. We have beach towels for hire if needed.
- tea, coffee, Nespresso capsules, sugar, local eggs and milk, organic bread, cooking oil, salt and pepper, kitchen towel, dishwasher tablets and cleaning products.
- washing powder and softener.
- 2 large bag of logs with kindlings and fire lighters.
